ALAN VALLIS

Alan's work has many influences, the result of his travels, to Indonesia, Africa, Jordan and Egypt but particularly the Red Sea. His interest in diving has initiated a recurring marine theme in his work.
He has a collection of ring styles. His 'Stacking' rings are influenced by the decorative patterns, textures and colours of the Middle East, his 'Coiled' rings by the box construction techniques of the Shakers of North America. In more recent commissions he has been experimenting with settings for large stones in his 'Pevsner' series. He has also been developing his 'Munich Muse' necklace designs, work of a less figurative nature that use strong geometric forms to compliment unusual cuts of semi-precious and gem stones sourced in Germany.

SHIPPING / POST: smaller items charged at COST

Royal Mail’s 1st Class, Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery are usually used within UK depending on value and insurance required.

SHIPPING / POST: larger items + International Deliveries

UPS (United Parcel Service) is used for larger items within UK and abroad.

This service is usually TRACKABLE and requires a signature upon receipt of goods. (This service has proved 100% reliable for us.)

Insurance, if required, is charged at 1% of value.

Price example - £ 12.50 up to 30kg for delivery next working day within UK

Shipping charges are priced at COST. If special packaging is required (e.g. wooden boxes or picture crates), this can be discussed at time of purchase and is charged at a nominal rate.
