MARTIN ANDREWS
Originally from the West Midlands, Martin graduated in glass with a BA(hons) from West Surrey College of Art and Design. Between 1992-2000 he was a member of the London Glassblowing Workshop, running the workshop and making pieces to his own design. He also spent some time working for several leading glass Studios in Sweden. The rural landscape there considerably influencing his work.
He captures the motion and fluidity of hot glass, using bright colours within the surfaces, which once cool, are often worked on further with etching techniques, giving the glass its satin finish. All pieces are hand blown and signed.
Martin has also collaborated with a number of other artists, notably silversmiths and lighting designers. He has also been involved in architectural projects, including windows for public buildings. One of the most important of these being the “Sister Dora” window, which is sandblasted and engraved using coloured layered glass, for Walsall Hospital, and a glass cross for St John’s Church, Ladywood.

UPS (United Parcel Service) is used for larger items within UK and abroad.
This service is usually TRACKABLE and requires a signature upon receipt of goods. (This service has proved 100% reliable for us.)
Insurance, if required, is charged at 1% of value.
Price example - £ 12.50 up to 30kg for delivery next working day within UK
Shipping charges are priced at COST. If special packaging is required (e.g. wooden boxes or picture crates), this can be discussed at time of purchase and is charged at a nominal rate.
